Extravision has been a major Wholesale supplier of Optical products to Retails Stores and Government agencies Australia wide for over 40 years. Our product range includes Binoculars for general use through to large Coin operates models, Rifles scopes, Thermal Imagers, Night Vision etc. Our full range can be viewed on our Web Site.

This position advertised is for a Sales Manager to manage the promotion and sales of our Thermal Optical range of products to our Retail Dealers Australia wide.    

Responsibilities include;       

  • Connection with and updating current sales opportunities to our Sales Reps in other states.
  • Connection with our International Suppliers for placing product orders and updating supply of our Advertising material.     
  • Connection with our Sales Reps regularly for their Dealer feedback and product reviews.
  • Process orders received from our Dealers to complete monthly orders we place with our manufacturer.
  • Placing orders and keeping connection with our suppliers for movements in product supply capabilities.
  • When necessary answer & direct phone calls and or take notes for end receiver.
  • Direct over the phone Retail sales enquiries to closest Dealer.
  • General help to Retail Customer enquiries and “where to buy” advice if necessary.
  • Respond to email inquiries
  • Visit local stores occasionally and plan interstate store visits with our State reps at least twice year.
  • When necessary take part in any Trade Shows we take part in throughout Australia.
  • When required do minor repairs that might be necessary to some products. Products not repairable to be recorded and accumulated and sent back to Manufacturer.
  • Strong computer skills required.

General Requirements:

  • Hold a valid QLD Driver’s License and have access to a reliable vehicle for own transport to and from the workplace
  • High level of Microsoft is required - state which Microsoft Office products you are experienced with and to which level (beginner, intermediate, expert)
  • High attention to detail. This job is suitable for someone who can multitask in a busy situation while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Be a quick learner, and happy to ask questions if unsure about anything.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to expand your knowledge to become exceptional in our Thermal imaging products.
  • A genuine interest and/or experience in the requirements of sport hunting and security applications.
