This big glass path corrector allows attaching a binoviewer to nearly all Newtionans with 2" focuser no matter if you use the Mark V or the Maxbright binoviewer.
The extension factor is 1.7x but nevertheless it can correct for nearly the full bino's glass path. So it can also be used for newtonians with short back focus.
A coma corrector is integrated
A specialty is the integrated coma corrector for a wider field with pinpoint stars is suitable to insert into the Baader Maxbright and Mark V Großfeld Binocular viewer (insert diameter: ∅ 2" - 50,8mm, incl. M48 filter thread)
A Baader Glaspathcorrector® is not a Barlow lens! The reason for this name is only secondly the displacement of the focal point. A Glasspathcorrector® is primarily intended to correct the prismatic color fringing that occurs on Refractors due to the high amount of glasses used in binocular prisms
